Working with Functions

Sisense provides a large number of built-in functions that you can use to perform specific calculations or return information about your data. You can use the functions on their one or within formulas.
The functions are organized into four categories: statistical, mathematical, time-related, and other.

To access functions:

1. Hover over any of the fields in the Values section and click on the Edit (pencil) icon.
   The Formula Editor is displayed.
2. Open the Functions tab and scroll down to select the desired function.
3. To find a specific function in the Functions tab, enter the function's name (for example, Average) or syntax (AVG) in the Search field. As you begin typing, the functions that contain the string in either their name or syntax will appear below.
