# Generating Support Log Files

> If you contact Sisense Support, you might be asked to generate and send a support file. This file contains information about Sisense that will help Sisense Support understand your environment and solve issues.

If you contact Sisense Support, you might be asked to generate and send a support file. This file contains
information about Sisense that will help Sisense Support understand your environment and solve issues.

**To generate the support file:**

- In the **System Management** tab of the Admin page, click **Generate Support File**.

  A new tar.gz file is downloaded to your system with the following name format:
    
  `support-yyyy-mm-dd-hh:mm.tar.gz`
