# Activating Sisense on Linux

> How to activate Sisense. To support machines behind firewalls, or without internet access, you need to download and install the full Sisense installation file. After you have installed Sisense, you need to provide an offline activation key.

To support machines behind firewalls, or without internet access, you need to download and install the full Sisense
installation file. After you have installed Sisense, you need to provide an offline activation key.

The steps below describe how to install Sisense offline and activate it.

**To install Sisense offline:**

1. In Sisense, on the Welcome screen, enter your email address and password.
2. Click **Login**.

   OR

   If you are behind a firewall, click **Behind a Firewall**.
3. Paste your license key into the required field and click **Login**.
4. If you do not have a license key, copy the ID displayed on the Behind a Firewall screen.
5. Log into your account: [my.sisense.com/login](https://my.sisense.com/login).
6. In the Get License Key section, paste the ID into the required field.
7. Click **Get Key**.
8. In the Behind a Firewall screen, paste the license key into the required field.
9. Click **Login**.
