Activating Analytical Engine
If Analytical Engine is not activated by default, you can manually activate it as follows:
- For ElastiCube models:
- As a user with the System Admin role, navigate to Admin > Server & Hardware > System Management > Configuration.
- Click the Sisense logo 5 times.
- From the left pane, select Translation.
- Either scroll down the list or use the search to locate EnableAnalyticalEngineForMonet.
- Toggle the enableAnalyticalEngineForMonet parameter to on.
Note:
The cache is not automatically recycled when enabling the Analytical Engine.- For Live models:
If Analytical Engine is enabled, if it is not enabled for your connector, you can enable it for your connector as follows:
- As a user with the System Admin role, navigate to Admin > Server & Hardware > System Management > Configuration.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Manage Connectors.
- From the left pane, select the connector you need.
- In the right pane, scroll down to enableAnalyticalEngine.value and toggle it on.

The MySQL and MemSQL connectors are currently partially supported by the AE, but the AE is not enabled for them by default. Full AE support is currently in development for MySQL; once complete, the AE will be enabled for it by default.

The Oracle connector is currently not supported by the AE at all. The AE cannot currently be enabled via the UI for Oracle. Support for Oracle in the AE is planned for the future.
